Quality Comes First In Cabinet Manufacturing And Delivery
Designer’s Choice Cabinetry Distributes A Variety Of Styles Across The Country
Whether we are manufacturing cabinets in a broad range of styles and first-class materials or shipping them across the country, Designers Choice Cabinetry is focused on offering top quality products to our dealers and their customers.
Based in Rockledge, Florida, we sell face-frame and full access cabinets through kitchen cabinet dealers in the United States. More than 200 employees manufacture an average of 450 cabinets a day in-house, on computer-driven equipment. The face-frame cabinet, offered in plywood and particle board, represents 60 percent of our volume. Full access Millennium and Urban lines are available in particle-board melamine and plywood construction.
We ship cabinets to Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana on our own fleet of trucks. Outside of these states, we use an exclusive, highly qualified furniture shipper. Cabinets are shipped fully assembled and boxed with corner protectors.
Quality control is our first priority, backed by a full staff of customer service representatives.
How We Make Our Cabinet Doors and Molding
Designers Choice Cabinetry produces all of our doors at our factory in Rockledge, Florida. Wood products represent more than 95 percent of our total volume, with Thermofoil and melamine products making up the rest.
We buy the majority of our hardwoods from suppliers in the southeastern and northeastern part of the country. We OK only FAS (Firsts and Seconds) or Selects in maple, oak, cherry and alder. All of our lumber is purchased in rough form and is then planed, cut and molded into the various components of our wood products. All door rails and center panels are assembled using mitered or mortise and tenon construction.
Completed doors, panels, and frames are machine-sanded before an employee hand-sands each individual piece. Wood components are then stained and sealed in an automated finishing line. The products are scuff-sanded before they are top-coated in another finishing line.
Thermofoil doors are made of a medium density fiberboard (MDF) core and are cut with a CNC router using special diamond tooling. These doors are offered in 4 selected door styles, ranging from round to square corners, as well as a slab-style door with a 90-degree round edge. They are sprayed with glue and placed on a membrane press, which uses heat and pressure to apply the foil (plastic material) to the surface and edge of the door.
Our attention to detail and use of the best materials results in quality cabinets that customers will love.
